I wear a lot of black and I am loving these black lace maxi skirts. I think I might try to make one. Stay tuned to see what I come up with.

DIY Rhinestone Ipad Cover
When I bought my iPad, I knew I needed a cover for it. The cover that I found was pretty boring. It was just a plain black leather case. Customizing it was a no-brainer.
Here is what you need:
iPad Cover
Assorted Rhinestones
Fabric Paint & Paint Brush
Painters Tape
E-6000 Quick Hold
Start out by taping off the area you don't want painted. Then paint the other section with the fabric paint. I chose a red paint with a pearl finish.
When your paint has dried completely, you can start adding your rhinestones. I randomly added them until I started to see a pattern that I liked. Use the E-6000 to glue the rhinestones into place. A toothpick or small dowel rod can be used to apply the glue to avoid putting too much glue onto the rhinestone.
Let the rhinestones set up overnight before using.
It was a little messy putting the stones on, but other than that it was really easy to do. It took about an hour to glue them all on.
This is the last of the red and black projects, for now. More projects to come soon. I would love it if you became a follower of my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

DIY Blinged Sunnies
Today, I have a very simple DIY - adding some bling to sunglasses. I have these plain black cat eye sunglasses that I love, but I wanted to jazz them up a bit.
Here is what you need:
Sunglasses (your choice)
2 Pendants (Michael's jewelry department)
E-6000 Quick Hold
Add your glue to the back of the pendant (you may need to remove the loop from the back of the pendant so that the pendant lays flat). Place the pendant on the corners of the sunglasses where ever you want them. Hold in place for a minute or two to set.
Leave them overnight to set completely before you wear them. That is it. A very easy project to add some bling to your sunnies.
If you couldn't tell from the 2 posts so far, I really like black and red. You will see more black and red posts soon. Thanks for stopping by.

DIY Striped Glitter Sneakers
I know that this has been done several times in blogland, but I haven't done it and I love glitter. So I decided to start off my DIY Fashion blog with a classic.
What you need:
Shoes
Glitter (2 different colors)
Mod Podge
Paint Brush
Add Mod Podge to the shoe.
Add glitter.
Continue adding like colored stripes with Mod Podge and glitter.
Let dry, then apply another coat of Mod Podge and glitter. I ended up doing 3 coats. Do the same with the other color stripes.
That is it. Drying time was the most time consuming part.
I really like how they turned out. I am not sure how they will hold up with wear. I'll keep you posted.
