I have a new outfit for you today.  This is a present day outfit, not an outfit from 3 months ago.  I bought this beautiful white wide brim fedora in May.  I really love the hat (my most expensive hat).  But, this hat is really tricky to wear.  Some times it can look like a cowboy hat which is not my style at all.  I'm from West Virginia, but a country girl I am not.  I am a city girl all the way.  So do you think this hat looks like a cowboy hat?

Ok.  It has been almost 3 months since I disappeared (again).  A lot has been going on in my life.  I wasn't exactly happy working 2 part time jobs and not making enough money to buy the things I wanted.  Therefore, I decided to pursue a career that I have always had an interest in.  That career requires taking classes.  So for the past few months, I have been doing online classes and working a new part time job.  I am almost done with my classes and then I will have to take an exam to get my license.

I have really missed posting my outfits here on the blog and I am going to make an effort to get back into posting new outfits next week.  In the meantime, I had 2 outfits from May that I never posted.  Thanks for stopping by to see me again.  Please come back soon.

Today, I am co-hosting the weekly spotlight link-up with Jacqueline from Stylin' In St. Louis and Elle from Living In Color Style.  The theme is spring whites.  I decided to wear this simple tank and pencil skirt outfit because it was extremely hot outside when I took these photos.  The reason why white is so popular in the spring and summer is because it is suppose to keep you cool unlike dark colors and blacks that absorb the heat.  The lighter colors definitely helped on this hot day.

Spring is in the Air

Spring was in the air.  Now, it feels more like winter again.  What is wrong with this weather?  One day it is 90 degrees, the next day it's 50.  That is not normal.  Either way, when I took these photos it was a beautiful spring day.  When it is a warm spring day, there is nothing like wearing a light and airy dress.  I had to goth up the pretty spring dress by wearing this black floppy hat and black booties with it.

I'm so happy that I have time to blog again.  I love being back to my routine of blogging and posting on Instagram.  I really did miss it.  A few of my lovely readers told me they missed me and that truly means so much to me.  I'm glad you guys enjoy seeing all my crazy outfits that I come up with.  I promise I won't disappear again.

I've had these pants for awhile and wore them a few times.  But, for some reason, I haven't photographed them for the blog yet.  I find the cutest pants at K-Mart.  They are my go-to place for printed pants.  Stripes, houndstooth, leopard print, you name it, I've found it there.  They come in fun colors like pink, neon yellow and blue.  You'll see the other pants I've got from K-Mart at some point.

Hello again!  Sorry I disappeared for a few weeks.  Having 3 jobs was not a great idea.  I had no free time at all.  So I had to make a decision, more money or more time for things that I enjoy in life.  It wasn't a hard choice.  Money isn't everything.  Needless to say, I quit one of the jobs.  Now, I have time to blog again.  I sure missed it.

Among all the chaos of working 3 jobs, I managed to get bronchitis. Last week, I had to go on antibiotics.  Today, I had a follow up doctor's appointment.   After going to the doctor, we went to lunch and to get some groceries.  I wore this outfit and this new lace front wig.  I like that when wearing a lace front wig, no one ever asks if it is my real hair because it looks so realistic.
