My Life Lately {In Picture} Week 10

I am still getting birthday packages in the mail.  This one was from Love Culture.

My husband's gift for my birthday.  It had most of my giftcards inside.  He hid the other gift cards in our car so that I would find them on our way shopping.  He is the best.

The big sundae we ate at the end of my birthday.  It was so good.  I haven't had that much dessert in months.

Birthday Fashion Haul Part 1 {K-Mart, Love Culture, Claire's and Abercrombie Kids}

I know all 30 of you that read my blog are dying to know what I bought for my birthday (since I keep talking about it).  So today, I am going to share part 1 of my birthday fashion haul with you.  I am breaking the haul into multiple posts so that it isn't super long and I can go into more detail.  I can't wait to show you.

Here is a collage of all the places we went on the 14 hour shopping excursion. A timeline of the events for the day.

We started the day at Eat 'N' Park at 9 am.  I love their breakfast buffet and we needed to load up for the full day of shopping.  Then we headed to The Mall at Robinson in Pittsburgh.  After the mall, we drove to The Tanger Outlets in Washington, Pa.  It was my first time there and I wasn't overly impressed.  The next stop was a couple of Goodwill's.  The first one had really good quality clothes, but the second one didn't.  Then we made our way to K-Mart.  By this point, we were starving and needed a break from all the walking.  Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurants.  I meant to take a picture of my favorite meal, Chicken and Dumplings, but I forgot.  After we ate, we went to Target and Gabriel Brothers (Gabe's).  The finale of the evening was eating a huge sundae at Sarris Candies ice cream parlor.  It was a long day, but I had a blast.  My husband, not so much.  He was bored with it about halfway through.  But he hung in there.

Sorry, I haven't posted anything for a couple days.  Thursday, I was out running errands all day and didn't get my post finished.  Friday was a rough day all around.  I didn't get much sleep because our female chocolate miniature pinscher, Sidney "Sid" cries all night long.  We don't know why she is doing it, but I have to wake up pretty much every hour to either let her out or tell her to stop crying.  At work,  I got bit twice and I was there way longer than I anticipated.  I was extremely exhausted when I got home.  Therefore, no posts from me.

I have been dying to wear these camo boots I bought in the Fall.  I decided to pair them with pink.  Why not?  I really like the combination.  I guess it is because I am really into pink right now.

If you didn't already know, yesterday was my birthday.  Yes, April fool's day is my birthday.  My husband gave me several gift cards to various stores as my gift.  So to celebrate my big day, I planned a massive shopping day.    We literally were shopping for 14 hours.  I bought so much stuff.  I will do a birthday haul post soon.  Actually, it will be a few posts because I bought so much.  I hope you will come back to see where I went and what I got.

I wore this outfit the other day when my husband and I went to see the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra chamber players at a performing arts school near our house.  The concert was very small (about 18 people in attendance) and it felt like a private concert almost.  It was really nice to go out and get dressed up.  The highlight of the night was getting a compliment from an old lady who liked my outfit.

Today is my birthday.  I am so excited.  Right now, I am out shopping.  What better way to spend your birthday?  Later this week, I will fill you in on where I went and what I bought.
