Best of 2014

On this final day of 2014, I thought it would be fun to post some of my favorite looks this year.  

I didn't blog as much as I wanted to this year due to moving in the middle of the year.  But, I had a lot of fun posting my outfits and I plan on growing the blog in 2015.   I hope you will follow along.

This is my last outfit post of the year.  This is my New Year's Eve outfit.  Actually, it's not really.  This is what I would wear if I was going out.  I am a home body so I am not going anywhere.  The truth is I will probably be wearing a T-shirt, lounge pants and my new polka dot robe my in-laws bought me for Christmas.  It is super comfy and warm.  I'll watch the ball drop on my couch with my husband and dogs and I am perfectly happy with that.

What are you doing for NYE?  Whatever you do, I hope you are happy and having fun.  That is all that matters.

There were ups (buying a house) and downs (being robbed) this year, but it still was a great year.  I look forward to all the fun things that happen in 2015.

This is my Christmas outfit.  On Christmas, we spend the day with my husband's family.  Christmas Day is a more casual day for me.  Yes, this outfit is casual to me.

If you look closely, you can see that I am missing a button on my shorts.  It fell off on Christmas and I obviously took these pictures a different day.  I didn't have time to sew it back on before I took the pictures.  Sorry.

Here is another tidbit of info about this outfit.  These shoes are so old, the last time I wore them was to my prom a long long time ago.  I am not going to say how long.  I don't want to freak people out with how old I am.

This is an old outfit.  I haven't posted this outfit yet because there is something about it that I don't like.  I thought it was the pictures, so I re-shot them indoors.  Then I wasn't really happy with those.  So now I think I just don't love this outfit.  I wore it in November when we went to see Brian Regan in Pittsburgh.

Despite this outfit not being my favorite, I do love this chihuahua tee.  It is way too big.  I could only find a large and the large was huge.  I might have to have it taken in to wear it again.  Isn't he cute though?

If you follow me on instagram, you already saw my Christmas Eve outfit.  If not, this is what I wore to my parents house.  We celebrate Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve.

This is one of five wigs I bought on cyber Monday from Anime Stuff Store.  The wig is a deep purple, but in the photos it looks more magenta.  When the weather is warm again, I will do photos with this wig outside in the natural light so that you can really see what color it is.

I am still experimenting with my indoor photos.  I had these corrugated metal things from my old photography studio in our garage.  I decided to try them out as a background.  I really like it.  What do you think?
